Precision is the base of perfumery. In this focused half-day class, students will gain practical training in the essential skills of measurement and formulation. We will cover choosing the right tools for the job, working by weight versus volume, and speak to evaporation rates and formulation for different applications. Attention will also be given to lab safety, handling protocols, and best practices for setting up a reliable workspace.

This session is designed to demystify this mathematical and  technical side of perfumery, giving you confidence in the everyday practices that underpin all blending and composition. By the end, you’ll have a solid grasp of how to measure, record, and reproduce your work accurately, ensuring that your creative ideas can take form with consistency and clarity.
